Well all my questions were answered last night. Is Jason a jerk? Yes! He's an idiot too, with no class. Should I go on? Why not!
The first part of the show went on exactly as it always has with parent meetings, last dates, I love you's and kissy face. I thought Molly was the more genuine one, setting up massages and cooking dinner, making him the cute story book...wait...am I falling for Molly not Melissa? A little! Melissa was way better with Tai but I felt like Molly was pretty good too. It just seemed like Melissa was ready to be a mom and hang and Molly was more career and family. I thought Molly seemed more mature and secure. I felt like he was liking Melissa more because of Tai.
Deanna of course, messed everything up. Not because she wanted him back but because she said she picked the wild card and it didn't work out. Okay, Jason obviously took that all in and freaked. (Hello the same thing happened on Top Chef where Carla let another chef take over her menu and she lost...ah the reality TV...)
First of all Jesse was a class A idiot snowboarder who had no direction. Molly (the supposed wild card here), is a career minded golfer who likes to have fun! Big difference!!!! I think that's why Jason made the safe choice and then BAWLED when Molly left. Molly was smart though, playing the Jedi mind trick on him of "you're making a big mistake". You could tell her was unsure and he wanted her to tell him why and what to do!
So then he proposed to Melissa who I thought wore an ugly dress and had a weird reaction to his proposal. They all jumped in the pool, Tai too, and were going to be a family. I knew it wasn't going to happen so I couldn't be excited.
Now comes the Jason jerk part.
He shows up to the final rose show, says he made a mistake, it's not working out, and gives the impression Melissa already knows. Melissa comes out, looking AMAZING! and clearly did not know he was going to break up with her. I was proud of her except when she talked about herself in the third person. She made awesome points of him not working on the relationship and having doubts. He picked her? WHY? Why didn't he let her go and pick Molly? He really had no answers and clearly wanted to bring up Molly which I think was the rudest. He couldn't let Melissa have her moment, he made it about Molly. She was pissed, called him a bastard, (loved that)and gave the ring back with a don't call me, leave me alone exit, she left. Good girl.
Okay, he changed his mind, made a mistake, but he involved his kid, a girl who had her heart broken a million times and as Melissa said, he should know better. If he really couldn't decide he should have asked for more time, more space, another date with each or something.
When Molly comes out she is of course adorable, except when she said she never had her heart broken (ahhh Molly the heart breaker!), and wants answers. Jason comes out and she asks the questions. How come you had no reason for not choosing me? When did you know? When Jason tells her he broke up with Melissa and wants to have coffee I wanted to gag. Um what? Molly was stunned, but she should have kicked him in the balls and walked off. Instead she was so glad to be right she couldn't stop smiling. She even kissed him a hundred times. Hello? You really want to be with this type of person? Someone who could do this?
Jason then makes sure I will never watch the Bachelor ever again saying the most important thing is to follow your heart (no matter who you hurt along the way), and it's not the most classy move (ya think?), but he has to follow his heart. My heart says he's a jerk. I am watching the final rose sequel tonight, but then I am DONE!
Okay, what did you think of this nightmare? The spoilers were right!!!
If your kids are dying to have a "sleep over" but are too young, try having a pretend one. Invite the friend over and leave the kids with a baby sitter while you and the parents go out for dinner. Let the kids have their sleeping bags and PJ's and go to sleep. When they wake up in the morning asking where their friend is, say they just left!
